Privacy policy

Data we collect

• Account details: name, email address and password (stored securely hashed).
• Order details: items bought, delivery address, contact details and order history.
• Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: pages viewed, searches, and clicks on partner offers, used to improve the store.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, send order confirmations and service emails, prevent fraud, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and improve the products we stock.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: Stripe for payments, our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider for order messages, and — for supplier-shipped items — the supplier who fulfils that order, who receives only the details needed to ship it. We never sell your data.

Partner offers

When you click a partner offer we record the click and the product for our own reporting. The retailer you land on operates its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your bag. Analytics are used only in aggregate and never to identify you personally.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (typically six years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. Email support@savesmartshop.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
